I'm Bob Sheehan of Galesburg, Illinois. As a member of the Western Illinois American Red Cross Board, I'd like to thank all of you who have so generously donated. As a result of our fundraising efforts, we've made great progress toward burning our mortgage!

The Red Cross mission is to help people in their time of need. Red Cross volunteers have been very busy this winter helping people who have had personal disasters, and are continuing their training. Your local Red Cross will be prepared to rise to the occasion in the future.

Since my views haven't changed on basic human issues, I'm keeping my old campaign site online as an archive, including an unimplemented program for campaign finance reform, as championed by the late Paul Simon.

During my 14 years in elected office, I have worked to include my neighbors in the process of government in Knox County and the City of Galesburg, where I live. My first priority will remain the same as it always has been: to encourage the participation of every individual, to the fullest extent possible.
